Associate UX Writer

**UX Writer JD**:
Remember how software used to come with a manual? Trust us, it did. For most successful digital products today, that ‘manual’ is written right into the app itself. The UX Writer role will focus on shaping product experiences by creating useful, meaningful text that helps users complete the task at hand. You will help shape the overall customer experience and be an integral part of the product and UX design team. Your main mission, should you choose to accept it, is to make digital interfaces easy to use.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the company’s user guidance platform to create cutting-edge guidance content and learning for our global client base
- Translate lengthy, complex processes into simple, polished, and engaging guidance content that creates satisfying user experiences
- Conduct design ideation/content needs analysis to deep dive into customer problems and bring forth actionable insights
- Test and evaluate existing content and develop innovative approaches for improvement
- Manage multiple products and initiatives concurrently
- Train and mentor new members of the team as required
- Collaborate with UX designers, product teams, and researchers to craft language systems across a variety of contexts, including UI components, and in-app guidance and help text
- Design scalable processes and structures to support large amounts of content
- Anticipate customer needs based on their objectives and explore innovative solutions
- Create user-centered solutions by considering industry analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), journalism, or editorial experience or background
- An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience writing for digital products
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) mandatory, multi-lingual skills beneficial
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment with the ability to prioritize, schedule, and work on multiple products concurrently
- Experience working with user research and analyzing customer feedback
- Experience in UI copywriting, either in-house or with a portfolio.
- You should be a creative storyteller with the drive to write excellent, engaging copies.
- Have a user-focused mindset.
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
- A creative and motivated mindset with the ability to develop original ideas
- Be able to convey complex product workflows and features into the easy-to-understand copy.
- 0-3 years of experience in content creation, instructional designing, or technical writing
