Patient care: GDAs provide daily care for patients, including their safety, health, and comfort. They also help maintain a suitable environment for patients.
- Patient assistance: GDAs assist patients with personal care, such as dressing, deeding, and putting up drips. They also ensure that patients' diets are healthy and well balanced.
- Psychological support: GDAs provide psychological support to patients and aides in patient wellbeing.
- Medication care: GDAs take daily care of medication, safety, and health of the patients.
- Hygiene: GDAs maintain hygiene of the patient.
- Record keeping: GDAs must be able to maintain comprehensive and accurate records.
