**Job Description.**

We are looking to hire a Junior Dermal Therapist at the KOSA Skin Studio to cater to the client’s skin and beauty needs, including customizing skincare routines, sale of products, advice on treatments, performing facials, and managing the entire beauty journey. Ultimately, an exceptional therapist should be able to effectively personalize clients’ requirements to achieve the best results and high retention.

**Roles and Responsibilities**.
- Performing facial treatments and independent procedures of an aesthetician.
- Selling skincare and beauty products.
- Consulting with clients for their beauty needs through questions and skin analysis.
- Offering advice on skin, beauty, and wellness products and customized routines.
- Explaining all treatment procedures to the clients.
- Cross-selling beauty products and additional treatments, when appropriate.
- Preparing the treatment room is prior and post the treatment.
- Sterilizing beauty tools and equipment after every use.
- Replacing used inventory in retail and services.
- Welcoming clients to the studio so they feel comfortable and relaxed.
- Keeping records of client needs and preferences and the services provided.
- Managing client relationships.
- Ensuring billing is completed systematically.
- Managing appointments if required.
- Assisting in daily operations such as opening and closing of stores and keeping a record of the cash register.
- Referring clients to a doctor for treatment of serious skin problems.
- Staying abreast of the latest industry trends, products, research, and treatments.
- Encouraging excellence in guest service, client care, and team member support.
- Ensuring working space is kept clean and orderly.

**Knowledge and Skills Required.**
- Minimum 12th Standard Education
- CIDESCO / relevant Qualification
- An active license to practice beauty therapy.
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry.
- Sound knowledge of skin biology, skin physiology, and cosmetic chemistry.
- The ability to work flexible hours.
- Good communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- A professional appearance.
- A degree in Beauty Therapy, Reflexology, or a relevant field is a plus.

KOSA is a skin, beauty, and wellness brand headquartered in Pune. We have an e-commerce platform that has multi-brand retail and a skin studio in Pune, with expansion plans to Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Hyderabad next year. The skin studio is built on the philosophy of skin health and is designed by Dr. Pooja. She combines clinical practice and spa wisdom to create a modern practice based on skincare routines and facials. The Dermal Therapist leads the studio and is responsible for the client’s end-to-end needs.

- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
