Export Documentation Assistant

**Overview**:
An Export Documentation assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and compliant shipment of goods across international borders. This role involves meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of export regulations and documentation requirements. The Export Documentation Specialist collaborates closely with various internal departments and external parties to facilitate the timely and accurate completion of export documentation, minimizing the risk of delays or errors in the shipping process.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and manage all export-related documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, export licenses, and other required paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and international trade laws, staying up-to-date with changes in export control laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and other external parties to arrange shipments and obtain necessary documentation.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of export documentation, resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, such as sales, logistics, and finance departments, to gather necessary information and ensure alignment on export requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on export documentation procedures and requirements.
- Maintain organized records of all export documentation, ensuring accessibility and compliance with recordkeeping regulations.
- Monitor shipment progress and address any documentation-related delays or issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline export processes and improve efficiency.
- Participate in audits and inspections related to export documentation and compliance.
**Qualification**:
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 2-5 years) in export documentation or international trade compliance.
- Strong understanding of export regulations, including export controls, customs procedures, and trade compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across departments and cultures.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Certification in export compliance (e.g., Certified Export Specialist) is a plus.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
