Job Description: Female Vocal and Keyboard Teacher (Part-Time)

StrumAlong Institute is seeking a talented and passionate Female Vocal and Keyboard Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Vocal and Keyboard Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality music education to students of various ages and skill levels. **Responsibilities**:
Conduct vocal and keyboard lessons for students of all ages and skill levels, incorporating a variety of teaching techniques to accommodate individual learning styles.

Create and implement lesson plans that focus on building strong foundational skills, proper vocal techniques, keyboard proficiency, music theory, and musicianship.

Help students develop their musical abilities by providing guidance, constructive feedback, and personalized instruction during individual and group lessons.

Prepare students for performances, recitals, competitions, or examinations, ensuring they are confident and well-prepared to showcase their talents.

Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment that promotes creativity, self-expression, and a love for music.

Stay updated with current music trends, teaching methodologies, and industry developments to enhance teaching strategies and maintain a high standard of instruction.

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and institute staff to address inquiries, provide progress reports, and coordinate lesson schedules.

Collaborate with other music teachers and participate in faculty meetings, workshops, or training sessions as required.

Contribute to the growth and reputation of StrumAlong Institute by actively promoting the institute's programs and participating in marketing initiatives.

Maintain a professional appearance and conduct yourself in a manner that aligns with the institute's values and standards.

Qualifications:
A strong background in vocal and keyboard instruction, with proficiency in teaching both disciplines.

Demonstrated musical expertise and proficiency in vocal techniques, keyboard playing, music theory, and sight-reading.

Previous teaching experience, particularly with students of various ages and skill levels.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Strong organizational skills to effectively plan lessons, track student progress, and manage schedules.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for music education.

Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules and availability during after-school hours and weekends.

Knowledge of diverse music genres and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different musical preferences.

Familiarity with music software, digital keyboards, and other relevant teaching tools is a plus.

Degree or certification in music education or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.

Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: Up to ₹10,000.00 per month
