**Client Experince”(BRE): As **Client engineer you will have responsibility for Client requirements gathering and testing those for electric vehicle
**platforms which may include mHEV, HEV, PHEV and BEV.**
The Engineer must be a strong systems-focused team player with interdisciplinary experience/expertise, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

**The Client engineer shall perform the following activities***:

- Develop the hardware requirement of Client in line with customer expectation and requirements from vehicle team.
- Shall be able to translate them into Client system requirements.
- Work closely with customer and High Voltage Battery Systems (HVES) development team for the concepts that satisfy battery pack and vehicle level functional objectives.
- Shall carry out of hardware control board designs (Master and slave boards).
- Good knowledge on microcontrollers, sensor, communication methodology etc.
- Shall support Client wiring harness and external interfaces designs for vehicle.
- Execute programs through POP that meet or exceed objectives or performance, cost, weight, investment, and quality.
- Shall support/carry out testing through Hands on Battery Testing, Hands on Diagnostics Testing ,Vehicle Testing.
- Conducting supplier technical review meetings.
- Providing engineering assessment of each supplier's proposal.
- Shall support DVP&R and all required verification testing to ensure achievement of all functional objectives and assure compliance to program goals.
- Develop and execute system integration Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
- Procure components for various internal development teams & Execute Change Notices for all design changes.
- Support creating Component Specifications from vehicle, system and software requirements including requirements for Durability, Warranty, Safety and Performance at component level.
- Work with the chosen suppliers and manufacturing entities to ensure designs are robust to customer requirements, meet exact function, and are manufacturable without defect.
- Participate in post-test inspection reviews including detailed failure analysis and recommend changes to product specifications, as necessary.
- Track progress of component development, verification, and production both internally and externally
- Assist Issue Resolution and tracking at Technical, Program, Production and Financial levels.
- Assist reporting progress and status of component development at various team level meetings.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- B.E / BS degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Mechanical or equivalent Engineering Degree
- 3+ years' experience or MS degree in electronics design and development.
- Knowledge and hands on with microcontroller and peripherals.
- Awareness on HV battery pack systems.
- Ability to read/interpret Circuit Schematics, Worst Case analysis, layout drawings.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly motivated and self-starter.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to interface professionally with key customers, cross-functional teams, and all levels of personnel/management.
- Strong verbal written and presentation communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple responsibilities, one's own time while being mindful of deadlines.
- Must be task oriented, detail oriented, and accurate with work.

**Preferred Qualifications**
>MS degree in Electrical, Computer or equivalent Engineering Degree

>5+ years of DRE experience, preferably in Power Electronics

>Knowledge of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and fabrication

>Awareness of Power Electronics, Simulation Tools, and Motor Control Software Methodologies

*Interface with cross functional team to design and develop functional solutions that achieve design requirements & to ensure proper design interfaces with other components, and all requirements are met.
- Work with other functions Design / Releasing teams to ensure consistency in requirements, standards, and practices across programs.
