Expediting Trainee
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Expediting Trainee to join our dynamic team. As an Expediting Trainee, you will assist in ensuring that materials, goods, and services are delivered on time and meet project requirements. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain management, vendor communication, and project coordination while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Order Tracking: Monitor the status of purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies in alignment with project timelines.
- Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers and vendors to confirm production schedules, shipment details, and delivery timelines.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery receipts, and vendor correspondence to ensure proper documentation for audits and reviews.
- Issue Resolution: Assist in identifying and resolving delays, discrepancies, and other issues that may impact delivery schedules.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, logistics, and project teams to meet operational goals and deadlines.
- Reporting: Prepare and distribute status updates and progress reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve supply chain efficiency.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of supply chain processes is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
