Key Role: This role involves setting up, leading and managing Financial, Accounting, taxation, and

should have a strong understanding of internal audits, GST, and taxation, including both direct and

indirect taxes. The incumbent should be able to provide a leadership support to the team and also ensure

timely reporting to the management.

Base Location: Head Office, Byculla

experience in a similar role preferably in a family-run real estate firm. He should have a strong leadership

and team management skills. He should possess excellent in communication and presentation abilities

along with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Role & responsibilities:

- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including

balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Taxation: Manage both direct and indirect taxation, including income tax, property tax, and Goods

and Services Tax (GST).

Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance.

Develop tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
- Internal Audits:
Plan and execute internal audits to assess the company's financial controls and processes.

Identify weaknesses or inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

Ensure that all financial transactions are in compliance with internal policies and external

regulations.
- Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis to support decision making and identify opportunities for cost savings

and revenue enhancement.

Provide regular financial performance reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Cash Management:
Manage cash flow, including working capital, investments, and debt management.

Implement cash management strategies to optimize liquidity.
- Risk Management:
Identify and assess financial risks, develop risk management strategies, and ensure the

organization's financial stability.
- Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, providing guidance and support to achieve

departmental and organizational goals.
- Compliance.

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.

Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as necessary.
- Financial Systems and Technology:
Oversee financial systems, accounting software, and technology to streamline processes and

enhance efficiency.

Reporting to: Director - Accounts & finance

PROFILE IN A NUTSHELL:

- Setting up and handing over all accounts, taxation, finalization
- Reporting directly to Management
- Internal Auditing / Supervision
- Getting all work done by Junior Accounts staff
- TDS working & returns filling
- GST Working & returns filling
- Finalization of books of accounts
- Income tax : computation of advance tax, SA tax & return filling
- Banking compliance
- Any other statutory compliances
- MIS reporting to Management.

**Salary**: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
