**Job Purpose**:
Plan, Organize & Control mechanical maintenance activities of Recovery '“ Cryst & Calc section
**Job Context & Major Challenges**:
Recovery department has to supply un-interrupted flow of Spin bath with consistent superior quality to Spinning department which produces VSF by regenerating cellulose from viscose through spin bath solution. On other hand, to produce Sodium sulphate generated during VSF re-generation process & from maximising chemical recycling from spinning department. Recovery department has to work in synchronization with Spinning & Viscose department to achieve overall unit's objectives. Plant has a capacity to supports to produce 1,31,728 TPA of VSF of NW & Textile grade & 94,206 TPA Sodium sulphate customized as per customer requirement like COR, FIN, HPH, LPH, LCL grade. Major unit operations involves Filtration, Multi Stage Flash Evaporation, Crystallization, Drying & Cooling tower operation. Entire process is extensively comprises of power & steam consuming units.
Position Challenges:
Achieve zero HARM on day to day basis
Highest Steam & Power consuming unit - To achieve benchmarked Energy consumption
Carrying out rehabilitation, repair & continual improvement in running plant
Reduce breakdown related to MOC of MSRL & FRP affective productivity & operational efficiency
Unit Specific Challenges:
Reduce Cost of Production (COP)
Become global preferred supplier for VSF production
Get premium on account of Best in Quality of Sodium Sulphate to increase profit share
Supply of Acid/Zinc & Recovery of Return bath from FRC=2TPD plant
Frequent product changes in VSF (Textile/NW) & Sodium (COR/FIN/HPH/LPH/REG)

- KRA1- Maintenance- 1. Ensure availability of equipment in operating conditions to deliver the desired production targets with quality
2. Responsible for handling the stores and update the inward materials and to highlight critical items in advance to ensure sequential erection
3. Monitor and analyse Downtime with Root cause to reduce its impact on Cost, Quality and Delivery
4. Identification of abnormalities by routine check list system & predictive maintenance and rectification
5. Participate in Process Safety Event investigations/root cause analysis to provide guidance to all plants. In conjunction with site management teams, track progress of corrective actions where business wide issues are identified.
6. Identify and maintain spares required for carrying out timely maintenance activity
7. Initializing and finalization of various schemes to enhance plant productivity and overall equipment effectiveness- KRA2- 8.Responsible for implementing maintenance practice in the plant with highest safety, minimum cost and downtime in order to support production and other unit to work smoothly
9. Compliance for ISO & Statutory requirement, Wherever required for plant like, material handling equipment etc.
10. Timely and proper co-ordination with civil agencies to get release civil foundations for erection of Mechanical equipment's sequentially and priority wise.
11. Responsible for Erection & commissioning of heater, vessels cooling towers & pumps and other equipment with proper safety.
12. To make aware all those involved in erection regarding Safety and precautions to be taken during course of erection
13. Identifying and negotiating with vendors for timely procurement of systems & equipment's in technical adherence to project requirements.- KRA3- Safety & Environment- 1. Adhere to SO, SOPs, SMP, JSA, Take2, Tool box talk, Checklist, EARA/HIRA, Risk Assessment & HAZOP documents for Its validity as on date
2. Adhere to Process Safety Management (PSM) program implementation improvements through sharing and facilitating best practices among different plants and by creating the best means and/or channels for communications to serve this purpose.
3. Provide training to employees and contractors (as required) to assure understanding and compliance with Process Safety Standards and requirements of local process safety requirements. (PSM/RMP programs)
4. Carryout Process Hazards Analysis (PHA) for major risk projects under guidance of DH support in PHA methodologies.
5. Seek support for risk scenarios requiring further assessment post PHA review from DH- KRA4- 6. Instrumental in PSM Excellence implementation. Identify needs required to comply with PSM requirements.
7. Contribute to develop procedure & ensure implementation of new and existing standards and local process safety requirements
8. Act as member in Process Safety Event investigations/root cause analysis to provide guidance to all plants. In conjunction with site management teams, track progress of corrective actions where business wide issues are identified.
