**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Billing Management**:
- Accurately manage and process invoices, client billing, and payments.
- Maintain records of expenses and client payments.
- Prepare financial summaries and reports as needed.
- **File Preparation**:
- Organize and maintain legal files and records, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive legal documents.
- **Document Review**:
- Review legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Proofread and edit documents as required by attorneys.
- Assist in the preparation of case files for court proceedings.
- **Court Visits**:
- Deliver and file legal documents at court.
- Assist attorneys during court hearings and proceedings as needed.
- Coordinate and manage court schedules and appointments.
- **Excel Management**:
- Utilize Excel for data entry, analysis, and report generation.
- Maintain and update spreadsheets with client and case information.
- Create and manage templates for various legal and financial tasks.
- **Computer Expertise**:
- Proficiently use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal software.
- Assist in troubleshooting minor IT issues within the office.
- Manage electronic filing systems and ensure data security.
- **Communication Skills**:
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
- Draft and send correspondence on behalf of the legal team.
- Maintain a professional demeanour in all interactions, both written and verbal.
- **Work Efficiency**:
- Complete tasks in a timely manner while maintaining accuracy.
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Assist in any other administrative tasks as required by the law firm.
