**Key Responsibilities**:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager with a proven track record in generating leads and growing business in the Global/International & National markets, particularly into Africa, Australia, India, Central Asia, USA & UK.

Should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, and have a deep understanding of international markets and business practices.

**1. Develop Export Sales Strategy**:

- Conduct market research to identify potential export markets and assess market trends and opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive export sales strategies to penetrate new markets and achieve sales targets.
- Identify key competitors and analyse their strategies to gain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align export strategies with overall business goals.

**2. Establish International Client Relationships**:

- Identify and build relationships with prospective international clients and partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for international clients, addressing their needs, inquiries, and concerns.
- Conduct negotiations and close deals with international clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Communicate with clients to understand their evolving requirements and provide solutions accordingly.

**3. Market Expansion and Entry**:
Identify and evaluate potential market entry methods, such as direct sales, distributors, or strategic alliances.
- Develop and implement market entry plans, including pricing strategies, distribution channels, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product or service readiness for international markets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adapt the market entry strategy as necessary.

**4. Sales Performance Analysis and Reporting**:

- Track export sales performance, monitor sales metrics, and analyze market trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on export sales activities, market penetration, and revenue forecasts.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis to optimize export sales efforts.
- Identify potential risks and challenges in export markets and propose proactive measures to mitigate them.

**Required Skill Sets**:

- Proven experience in business development and sales, specifically in export markets.
- Strong knowledge of international business practices, trade regulations, and market entry strategies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with international clients.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret market data and trends.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, MS Office, and other relevant business tools.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
