E-pub Conersion

As an EPUB Conversion Specialist, you will play a crucial role in transforming written works into EPUB format, ensuring high-quality and compatibility with different e-reader devices. This position requires a meticulous attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Convert manuscripts, documents, or other written materials into EPUB format using specialized software or tools.
- Ensure the accuracy and fidelity of text, formatting, and layout during the conversion process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve formatting issues, inconsistencies, or errors that may arise during conversion.
- Optimize EPUB files for compatibility across various e-reader devices and platforms.
- Collaborate with authors, publishers, and other stakeholders to understand their specific requirements and preferences.
- Provide recommendations and guidance on best practices for EPUB formatting and production.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, trends, and developments in EPUB technology and digital publishing.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Publishing, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience with EPUB conversion and digital publishing processes.
- Proficiency with EPUB creation tools such as Adobe InDesign, Sigil, Calibre, or similar software.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and XML, and their relevance to EPUB formatting.
- Familiarity with metadata standards and requirements for EPUB files.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy throughout the conversion process.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
