Informatica Administration

**Position Summary**

Someone who is responsible to perform administrations jobs on Informatica PowerCenter, Data Quality, DEI, EDC environments that includes installations, configurations, access management, patch management etc. One is responsible to ensure reliability and performance of the Informatica product lines. The present learning curve of Technology is constantly and rapidly evolving, it is important for this role to be flexible and open to adopt new skills. Skills on cloud integration, data warehouse, basic SQL & Informatica scripting are expected out of this person.

**Responsibilities**:

- Regular administrations: installations & configurations, upgrade, hot fixes, patches & maintenance
- Product line: PowerCenter 10.x, Power exchange, Data quality, DEI & EDC 10.x
- Performs capacity and stability monitoring
- Perform integration between PowerCenter & PWX
- Configures Informatica High Availability multi-nodes architecture, failover, and recovery functionality
- Configures Application load balancing (URLs)
- Assists with Informatica code migrations and cutovers during releases and go-lives

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- 5 to 8 years of good hands-on experience on Informatica products
- Informatica product lines: PowerCenter 10.x, Power exchange, Data quality, DEI & EDC 10.x
- Good problem solving & performance tuning skills
- Basic knowledge on ETL basic concepts of data flow, data enrichment, data consolidation, change data capture & transformation
- Knowledge on Informatica software security model & adaptability is a PLUS
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures manuals
- Ability to learn and scale up on new technologies
