**Your Role and Responsibilities**
Who you are:

- Big Data Architect with sufficient expertise in areas related to setting up of Big Data Systems from scratch, administration of Big Data Solutions, including Hadoop and Spark.
- The resource shall be responsible for architecting, set up and implementation and subsequent management of implemented solution. He shall be responsible for all aspects of setting up and management and performance tuning of the system, and any other related activity including but not limited to cluster maintenance as well as creation and removal of nodes using appropriate tools, manage/ monitor cluster job performance & capacity planning, backup and recovery management.
- The resource is required to have good understanding on the overall technology landscape in Big Data and shall be able to provide client with professional and technical advice on concepts and technologies, as well as assist in evaluation of HDFS & Cloudera infrastructure requirements and design/deploy solutions

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Qualification: The resource shall possess at least a regular BE/ BTech/ MCA degree
- Experience:

- The resource shall possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 4 years’ experience in Big Data and related technologies.
- The resource shall have worked in implementation of at least two Big Data Systems in Architect/ Design roles. At least one of these two systems which he/ she has implemented shall be using the framework proposed by the BISP and shall have size of minimum of 10 TB.
- Knowledge of Isilon is highly desirable
- He/ she shall have strong expertise in systems administration, Linux tools, configuration management on large scale environment, and shall have hands on experience in related tools
- Hands on experience in tools within Hadoop stack like Sqoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hbase, Pig, Hive, Oozie is highly desirable
- Will be required to work out of client office in Delhi

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Should be well conversant in English and should have excellent writing, MIS, communication, time management and multi-tasking skills
