**Job Title**: Sales & Marketing Engineer (Electrical Instruments & Automation Systems)
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Market Analysis and Strategy**:
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, key competitors, and emerging trends within the electrical instruments and automation systems sector.
- Develop sales strategies and action plans to penetrate the targeted regions and achieve sales targets.
- Identify opportunities for product expansion or customization based on market demands and customer feedback.
- **Sales and Business Development**:
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, utilities, and other institutional customers in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and neighboring areas.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities and sales leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events and conferences.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of electrical instruments and automation systems.
- Collaborate with the sales team to prepare and negotiate proposals, contracts, and agreements with customers.
- **Technical Expertise**:
- Possess in-depth technical knowledge of electrical instruments and automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA systems, sensors, and control panels.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers regarding product selection, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to electrical and automation systems in water management, utilities, and electrical infrastructure.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government customers in the assigned regions, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within customer organizations.
- Proactively address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback to ensure a positive customer experience and enhance customer satisfaction.
- **Sales Reporting and Analysis**:
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress against sales targets and objectives.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization in sales and marketing strategies.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on market analysis and sales performance.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in sales and marketing roles within the electrical instruments and automation systems industry, with a focus on government customers.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present technical information to diverse audiences.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building skills, with a customer-centric approach to sales.
- Technical proficiency in electrical and automation systems, including PLC programming, SCADA configuration, and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes, tendering procedures, and contract management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned regions to meet with customers and attend meetings, conferences, and site visits.
This Sales & Marketing Engineer role requires a blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and customer relationship management skills to drive business growth and establish a strong presence in the target markets of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and surrounding areas.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
