Cold Store Keeper

The Cold Store Keeper is responsible for efficiently managing and overseeing the storage, organization, and inventory control of perishable goods and items within a cold storage facility. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to maintain optimal storage conditions to prevent spoilage and ensure the quality of stored items.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Inventory Management**:Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of perishable goods.
Organize and store items in designated cold storage areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
Regularly update inventory records, including quantities, dates, and conditions of stored items.

**Temperature and Quality Control**:Monitor and maintain cold storage facility temperature and humidity levels according to specified guidelines.
Conduct routine checks on stored items to ensure they meet quality standards and remain in optimal condition.
Take corrective actions in case of temperature fluctuations or equipment malfunctions.

**Stock Rotation and Replenishment**:Implement a first-in, first-out (FIFO) approach for stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure older items are used first.
Collaborate with purchasing and procurement teams to initiate replenishment orders in a timely manner.

**Documentation and Reporting**:Generate and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and withdrawals.
Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and any issues affecting the cold storage facility.

**Safety and Compliance**:Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for handling, storing, and transporting perishable items.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.

**Communication and Collaboration**:Coordinate with procurement, production, and distribution teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of items to and from the cold storage facility.
Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors regarding inventory orders and quality concerns.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
