**Job Title**: Visiting Faculty Professor - Research Methodology/Biostatistics

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Visiting Faculty Professor specializing in Research Methodology and Biostatistics to teach Sports Science students. The professor will be responsible for delivering lectures, conducting practical sessions, and providing guidance in research methodology and statistical analysis techniques. This position is part-time, requiring a commitment of 2 hours per week.

**Responsibilities**:
**Teach Research Methodology and Biostatistics**: Conduct engaging and interactive lectures on research design, data collection methods, statistical analysis techniques, and interpretation of results, tailored specifically for Sports Science students.

**Course Development**: Collaborate with the academic department to develop the course curriculum, including selecting appropriate textbooks, reference materials, and designing assignments and assessments.

**Research Guidance**: Provide individual and group guidance to students regarding their research projects, helping them develop appropriate research questions, select suitable methodologies, and analyze and interpret data.

**Evaluation and Feedback**: Assess students' progress through assignments, exams, and projects, and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their research and statistical skills.

**Office Hours**: Be available during designated office hours to address students' queries, provide academic support, and offer guidance related to research methodology and biostatistics.

**Stay Updated**: Stay abreast of the latest developments in research methodology and biostatistics, as well as relevant advancements in the field of Sports Science, in order to provide students with current and accurate information.

**Qualifications**:

- A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant field, such as Research Methodology, Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Strong expertise and practical experience in research design, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.
- Previous teaching experience at the university level, preferably in the field of Sports Science or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in using statistical software packages such as SPSS, R, or SAS.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively explain complex concepts to students.
- Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration and mentorship.
- A passion for teaching and promoting research excellence.
