**Job Purpose (Job Summary)**:
This position will serve primarly as PRINCIPLE test engineer for Automation on the Enterprise quality assurance team.

Principle Quality engineers responsibilities include leading project effort for automation of AEM program within Invesco including estimation, proces improvement, status reporting, cross-function collabration, project tracking, designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review business requirements and track quality assurance metrics

**Key Responsibilities / Duties**:

- Planning, coordination and control of automation activities.
- Hands on writing clean code quickly in languages like Java, Python and code review techniques.
- Test and Behavior Driven Development, Cucumber Framework, CI/CD Integration with Industry tools Jenkin, Bamboo etc.
- Expert knowledge on Functional Automation(Selenium, Python) and Database testing
- Define test automation strategy and planning to achieve the roadmap identified for the project and the organization.
- Good at Effort estimation, project tracking, status reporting, identify risk/mitigation plan and collobration.
- Involve in Requirement discussion and drive the discussion to closure with onshore/Client.
- Define, execute, verify and document Business & System requirements into positive & negative test cases using Test Case design techniques
- Collaborate with software/systems (i.e., Front-end/Backend Platforms) in testing Enhancements/Incidents across regions by performing such as system, unit, regression, and acceptance testing methods.
- Spreading expertise and good usage of tools such as bug-tracking database or versioning systems (Ex: QC, JIRA etc. in the industry)
- Able to group of team members and emphasize/Encourage the teamwork. Prepare the team for the change.
- Work in UK Shifts preferred and NA shift on need basis.

**Work Experience / Knowledge**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related discipline is highly desired
- 8 or more years of automation experience in API and Functional Automation preferred
- Understanding of the Asset Management industry, funds products and process are desirable
- Experience with AEM or other CMS tool is highly desired
- Demonstrated experience with testing software and tools
- Ability to create and enhance automation test frameworks/environments
- Experienced in both waterfall and agile project delivery methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
- Experience with onshore/offshore QA team model, highly desired
