We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **Chief Control Office-NFR**

**Principal responsibilities**
- Design, build and implement a robust governance framework across all aspects particularly senior management reporting on headcount, hiring, cost, performance metrics, progress against objectives, service catalogue, management packs.
- Closely support the governance and reporting towards location strategy and migrations
- Fulfill all local/regional/business reporting needs towards ongoing requirements in terms of administrative reporting, governance and input into the larger NFR forums.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness and efficiency of reports that are shared with any stakeholders

People Management
- This is an IC role but the role is expected to create and retain the culture of "one team" within and across CoE sites.
- Develop self and others to achieve business / individual goals, sharing knowledge and experience and providing support where required.

Operational Effectiveness & Control
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
- Implement the Group Compliance Policy as applicable to the role in conjunction with the relevant Compliance Department.
- Drive identification and remediation of control issues and procedural weaknessesMajor Challenges
- Managing effectively in a matrix organization across diverse stakeholders and geographies
- Managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring that robust communication and escalation mechanisms are in place
- Obtaining data from various sources, ensuring its integrity and accuracy in order to complete analysis and make key decisions
- Maintaining an oversight of the changing business landscape as the CoE evolves
- Dealing with a range of complex issues with conflicting and changing priorities
- Understanding the complexity in the current headcount and hiring reporting model and turning it around to generate reports that are fit for purpose
- Owning and driving the governance agenda in a dynamic and challenging business environment
- Working independently and with mínimal supervision
- Articulating or translating complex information in a clear and simple way

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Working knowledge of Analytics toolkits such as but not limited to Alteryx, Python etc.
- Experience in Visualizations tools preferably Qliksense.
- Experience and expertise in building interactive excel dashboards and presentations on short notice with accuracy and smart design that conveys the right message to a senior audience.
- Ability to convert detailed messages into succinct slides for executive consumption
- Structured and organized individual with project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- High skill for documenting management notes and being able to summarize and present in a crisp manner
- Ability to take difficult decisions in a complex operational environment
- Strong technical skills especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Power BI, MS Access, SharePoint
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Excellent communication - both verbal and written
- Ability to understand and implement strategic decisions and effectively communicate it to senior stakeholders
- Ability to thrive within a constantly evolving environment
- Experience of working in a changing environment, and having managed change in processes/teams
