Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Government eMarketplace (GeM) Portal Specialist to join our team. As a GeM Portal Specialist, you will be responsible for updating and maintaining our company's presence on the GeM portal. Your role will involve managing product catalogs, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information, and optimizing the user experience for seamless transactions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and update the GeM portal for our company, ensuring accurate product information, pricing, and availability.
- Upload product catalogs and maintain an organized and comprehensive inventory of offerings on the GeM platform.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather product information and ensure compliance with GeM guidelines and requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and update product availability status on the GeM portal.
- Optimize product listings by including relevant keywords, descriptions, and images to enhance visibility and attract potential buyers.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain necessary documentation and ensure smooth onboarding and integration with the GeM portal.
- Stay informed about GeM policies, updates, and new features, and proactively implement any required changes to comply with platform guidelines.
- Resolve any technical issues related to the GeM portal, liaising with the GeM support team if needed.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on GeM portal usage, processes, and best practices.
- Monitor GeM performance metrics and provide regular reports and analysis to management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing and updating the Government eMarketplace (GeM) portal.
- Strong understanding of GeM portal functionalities, guidelines, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in using GeM portal.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate and up-to-date product information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and GeM support.
- Technical troubleshooting skills to address any portal-related issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and regulations is preferred.
**Salary**: ₹12,468.54 - ₹36,129.46 per month
