**Job Title: Principal - College of Pharmacy**

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our prestigious institution as the Principal of our College of Pharmacy. As the Principal, you will be responsible for providing visionary leadership, strategic direction, and effective management to ensure the overall success and growth of the college. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic environment, fostering a culture of excellence, and maintaining high standards of education, research, and community engagement.

**Responsibilities**:
Leadership and Administration:Provide visionary leadership, set goals, and develop strategies to enhance the reputation and academic standing of the College of Pharmacy.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the college, including faculty and staff management, budgetary planning, and resource allocation.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes professional growth and supports faculty and staff development.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, and maintain effective communication with relevant external bodies.

Academic Excellence:Promote a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and research within the college.
Collaborate with faculty members to develop and implement high-quality academic programs, curricula, and teaching methodologies.
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of educational programs, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes to enhance student learning outcomes.
Support faculty in their scholarly activities, research endeavors, and professional development.

Student Engagement and Success:Foster a student-centered environment that promotes engagement, inclusivity, and student success.
Develop strategies to attract and retain high-caliber students, and ensure their holistic development.
Oversee student support services, including academic advising, counseling, career services, and extracurricular activities.
Address student concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters in a fair and timely manner.

Industry and Community Engagement:Establish and maintain strong partnerships with pharmaceutical industry leaders, healthcare organizations, and professional associations to enhance collaboration opportunities for students and faculty.
Promote community engagement and outreach initiatives to create awareness about the college's programs and foster positive relationships with the local community.
Represent the college at relevant conferences, seminars, and networking events to enhance its visibility and reputation.

Qualifications:

- A doctoral degree (Pharm.D., Ph.D., or equivalent) in Pharmacy or a related field.
- Significant experience in academic leadership roles, preferably as a Dean or Associate Dean in a College of Pharmacy.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmacy education, research, and practice.
- Strong understanding of accreditation processes and quality assurance in higher education.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire faculty, staff, and students in a collaborative and diverse environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven track record of fostering innovation, academic excellence, and research productivity.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve organizational goals.
- Knowledge of current trends, issues, and challenges in the pharmacy profession.

**Salary**: From ₹120,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
