Architectural Draftsperson

We offer architectural services for residential project such as new builds, extensions, loft conversions and refurbishments in the UK.

In addition, we have undertaken our own developments and look to focus on growing this part of the business in future.

Advice and consultancy come included and are available to prospective customers in the South of the UK.

Looking for a Drafts Person who has a good sense of Aesthetics and Presentation. Someone who has enough work experience to understand survey sketches and translate these into CAD.

We require in the individual a passion to learn, attention to detail and self-initiative. Analytic thinking and design skills are a must

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- **Technical Drafting**:
- Produce detailed and accurate technical drawings, plans, and schematics using industry-standard drafting software.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and project requirements.
- **Team Collaboration**:
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to interpret design concepts and translate them into detailed drawings.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior drafting team members.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- **Conduct thorough reviews of drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.**:

- **Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the drafting process.
- **Project Coordination**:
- Work closely with project managers to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate various design components seamlessly.
- **Software Proficiency**:
- Demonstrate expertise in industry-standard drafting software, including AutoCAD and other relevant tools.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in drafting technology and incorporate new tools as applicable.
- Previous working experience as a Drafts Person for 5+ years
- Outstanding drawing skills
- Hands-on experience with design computer programs such as Auto-Cad (2D & 3D) expertise is must, Sketchup & MS-Office etc.
- Great attention to detail
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Have excellent CAD skills. REVIT Certified Professional qualification is desirable.

**Education**:

- Diploma or degree in drafting, engineering, or a related field.

**Experience**:
5+ years of professional drafting experience, preferably in architectural or engineering projects.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
