Occupational Therapist

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Clinical Duties**:
**Patient Evaluation and Treatment**: Conduct thorough assessments of patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and others. Develop individualized treatment plans to address functional deficits and improve patients' daily living skills.

**Therapeutic Interventions**: Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to enhance patients' mobility, cognitive function, motor skills, and overall independence. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

**Patient Education**: Educate patients and their families about their conditions, therapy goals, and strategies for managing symptoms at home. Empower patients to participate actively in their rehabilitation journey.

**Progress Monitoring**: Regularly assess and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with departmental guidelines.

**Research Responsibilities**:
**Literature Review**: Assist in conducting literature reviews to identify relevant studies, research gaps, and emerging trends in neurology and occupational therapy.

**Data Collection**: Participate in data collection efforts, which may involve administering assessments, surveys, or conducting interviews with patients and their families. Ensure data accuracy and integrity.

**Data Analysis**: Collaborate with the research team to analyze collected data using statistical software. Contribute to data interpretation and presentation of findings.

**Research Documentation**: Maintain detailed and organized research records, including protocols, consent forms, data sheets, and analysis documentation. Assist in the preparation of research reports, manuscripts, and presentations.
