Sports Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive physical education curriculum that promotes physical fitness, motor skills development, sportsmanship, and lifelong participation in physical activity.
- Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that cater to the diverse interests, abilities, and learning styles of students.
- Teach a variety of sports and recreational activities, providing instruction in fundamental skills, rules, strategies, and safety practices.
- Organize and supervise sports competitions, intramural games, and extracurricular sports clubs to provide opportunities for students to participate in organized sports and recreational activities.
- Assess student progress and performance in physical education through observation, skill assessments, fitness testing, and participation in sports events and competitions.
- Provide individualized support and instruction to students to help them improve their skills, set personal fitness goals, and develop healthy lifestyle habits.
- Foster positive relationships with students, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and respect for others both on and off the field.
- Stay informed about developments in the field of physical education, including new teaching methodologies, fitness trends, and safety guidelines, and incorporate them into teaching practices.
- Serve as a role model and mentor for students, promoting a positive attitude towards physical activity and healthy living, and encouraging students to pursue lifelong participation in sports and fitness activities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Valid teaching certification/license in Physical Education or relevant area.
- Previous experience teaching physical education or coaching sports at the elementary, middle, or high school level.
- Strong knowledge of sports and recreational activities, including rules, techniques, and strategies for a variety of sports.
- Excellent coaching and instructional skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their personal best in sports and physical fitness.
- Enthusiasm for physical education and a genuine desire to promote the physical, social, and emotional well-being of students through sports education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where all students have the opportunity to succeed.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
