**Job Summary**:
The Ocean Export Coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating the efficient movement of goods via ocean freight. This role involves coordinating and managing all aspects of the export process, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and arrange shipments of goods via ocean freight, including booking cargo with carriers, preparing shipping documentation, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Communicate with customers, freight forwarders, carriers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on shipment status, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, including documentation requirements, customs clearance procedures, and trade compliance laws.
- Coordinate with internal departments, such as sales, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth execution of export transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, documentation, and related information in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any delays or discrepancies that may arise.
- Coordinate with customs brokers and other service providers to ensure timely clearance of goods through customs.
- Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed to meet departmental goals and objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to ocean freight and export logistics.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, international business, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in ocean export operations, preferably in a logistics or freight forwarding environment.
- Strong understanding of export regulations, documentation requirements, and customs procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and external partners.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Knowledge of INCO terms and international trade practices is a plus.
- Certification in export compliance or related areas is desirable.
