**Job Title: Food and Beverage Associate**

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Food and Beverage Associate to join our team at Evoma. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage services to our clients, guests, and visitors. From managing our on-site café to catering for events and meetings, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall experience for our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Café Operations**: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the on-site café, including food preparation, inventory management, and cleanliness. Ensure a high standard of quality and service at all times.
- **Customer Service**: Provide friendly and efficient customer service to café patrons, addressing their inquiries, taking orders, and ensuring prompt delivery of food and beverages. Anticipate customer needs and strive to exceed their expectations.
- **Menu Development**: Assist in developing and updating the café menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients, dietary preferences, and culinary trends to appeal to a diverse customer base.
- **Food Preparation**: Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverage items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain consistency in portion sizes, presentation, and taste.
- **Event Catering**: Coordinate with clients to fulfill catering requests for meetings, conferences, and events hosted at Evoma. Ensure timely delivery, set up, and presentation of catering orders to meet client expectations.
- **Hygiene and Safety**: Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the café kitchen and dining areas. Conduct regular inspections and follow proper procedures for handling food products.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, and place orders as needed to maintain sufficient stock levels. Minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency in food and beverage operations.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with other team members, including kitchen staff, servers, and event coordinators, to ensure smooth and efficient food service operations. Communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and fulfill customer requests.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting. Experience in event catering is a plus.
- **Customer Focus**: Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to interact effectively with customers and deliver a positive dining experience.
- **Culinary Skills**: Basic culinary knowledge and proficiency in food preparation techniques. Ability to follow recipes, handle kitchen equipment, and maintain food quality and presentation standards.
- **Attention to Detail**: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- **Hygiene Certification**: Valid food handling and hygiene certification in compliance with local regulations.
- **Team Player**: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team. Willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate café hours and event schedules.
