Fmcg Buyer

As a Buyer specializing in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) category, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing products that align with our company's objectives and customer demands. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability of quality products while maximizing profitability and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct Competition Benchmark and do analysis to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitive pricing strategies within the FMCG category.
- Develop and execute effective Vendor Onboarding and procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of products.
- Source new suppliers and negotiate terms of trade, and pricing to secure favorable arrangements that meet quality standards and budgetary requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including merchandising, marketing, and operations teams, to develop assortment plans and promotional strategies.
- Monitor inventory levels, sales performance, and market dynamics to optimize product assortments, minimize stock outs, and reduce excess inventory.
- Track supplier performance and conduct regular vendor evaluations to assess reliability, quality, and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging market trends to anticipate challenges and opportunities within the FMCG category.
- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market insights to identify opportunities for product innovation, assortment expansion, and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards, including product safety regulations, environmental sustainability practices, and fair trade principles.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
