Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Experience: 8-9 years of experience in supply chain is mandatory

The Supply Chain Molds Specialist is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of molds used in manufacturing processes. This includes sourcing, procurement, maintenance, and disposal of molds.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sourcing and Procurement**:Identify suitable mold suppliers and negotiate contracts for mold procurement.
Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Evaluate supplier performance and initiate corrective actions if necessary.
**Inventory Management**:Maintain an organized inventory of molds, tracking their availability, usage, and condition.
Implement inventory control measures to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Collaborate with production teams to forecast mold requirements and plan accordingly.
**Mold Maintenance**:Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for molds to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to conduct regular inspections, repairs, and replacements as needed.
Document maintenance activities and analyze data to identify trends and improve mold reliability.
**Quality Control**:Establish quality standards for molds and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address mold-related quality issues promptly.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance mold quality and performance.
**Cost Management**:Monitor costs related to mold procurement, maintenance, and repairs.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or production efficiency.
Analyze financial data to optimize spending and reduce overall expenses.
**Documentation and Reporting**:Maintain comprehensive records of molds, including specifications, maintenance history, and supplier details.
Generate regular reports on mold inventory, usage, maintenance activities, and costs.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
**Compliance and Safety**:Ensure molds comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Implement safety protocols for mold handling, storage, and maintenance.
Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in mold manufacturing.
**REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in mold sourcing, procurement, and management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mold technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
**Salary**: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
