**Job Title**: Expert - Finance Controlling [Freight]

**RCS Grade**: L

**Job Location**: DHL Global Forwarding, Freight (DGFF) GSC, India (Mumbai)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate, analyse, & shape cost control & compliance data & reporting.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Execute controlling activities, run analysis, and create reports.

**Operations Reporting Controller**:

- Create Daily reports tracking hours by job code (driver, dock worker, admin) and overlay with shipment volume to track hours per shipment for drivers and dock workers
- Create a Dashboard to view these reports by station
- Create Daily reports to track on time pickup and on time deliveries using data in CLI (our Transportation Management System)
- Create a Dashboard to track
- Create a live view report that gives real time updates on number of undelivered shipments in the system.
- Reconcile payroll hours to reported hours
- Create a report to show downtime daily
- Ad hoc operational reports

**A**ccountant balance sheet**:

- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
- Cash flow Analysis
- Cash flow Forecasting

**Revenue Reporting Controller**:

- Create daily reports that track volume by customer. Shipments, Weight, and Revenue
- Create daily reports that track volume by station. Shipments, Weight, and Revenue
- Create a daily report that tracks unbilled shipments
- Assist in revenue forecasting
- Create dashboards for volume by station and customer showing month over month changes, as well as year over year changes

**Scanning Invoices**:

- Scan Freight invoices into CLI, TMS/Accounting system. Freight is moving to S21 in June of 2024, train on this tool beforehand. currently implementation is done for GeT, for scanning invoices however not majority of vendors running through GeT yet. Access & Training required on GeT/S21.

**Others**:

- Ensure the process documentations / SOPs are updated with changes as per the plan.
- Create finance reports and management presentation decks

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Graduate with finance & accounting specialization
- Post graduation / Financial Management certification (preferable)
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in Finance domain
- Prior experience in managing onshore offshore working environment
- Should be well versed in MS Office Suite especially Advanced MS Excel (pivots, dashboards, data models, database management) and should have good knowledge of Powerpoint.

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to analyze, communicate, facilitate, prioritize, escalate and resolve issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and creative bent of mind with proactive approach to business problem solving

Soft Skills:

- Excellent English communication skills verbal and written
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills (Trend analysis, Reconciliation, Forecasting) and be pragmatic.
- Should be a self-starter and a good team player.
