**Overview**:
As a video editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting, digital distribution, or social media platforms. You'll work closely with producers and other team members to create visually appealing and engaging video content that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Video Editing**: Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring continuity, flow, and seamless transitions.
- **Storyboarding**: Work with producers to conceptualize and develop storyboards and visual treatments for video projects.
- **Color Correction and Grading**: Enhance video quality by adjusting color, brightness, and contrast to maintain visual consistency and appeal.
- **Audio Editing**: Edit and mix audio tracks, including dialogue, music, and sound effects, to ensure high-quality audio output.
- **Graphics and Effects**: Incorporate graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance the overall production value of videos.
- **Transitions and Titles**: Add transitions, text overlays, lower thirds, and other graphical elements to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
- **Format Conversion**: Convert video files to different formats for various distribution channels and platforms.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with producers, directors, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality video content on time and within budget.
- **Feedback Incorporation**: Incorporate feedback and revisions from stakeholders to refine and improve video projects.
- **Quality Control**: Conduct quality control checks to ensure videos meet technical specifications and adhere to brand guidelines.
- **Stay Updated**: Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in video editing and production techniques.

**Requirements**:

- **Proficiency in Video Editing Software**: Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- **Creative Skills**: Strong creative skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
- **Technical Skills**: Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and resolutions.
- **Time Management**: Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- **Communication Skills**: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and interpret project requirements.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find creative solutions under tight deadlines.
- **Portfolio**: A strong portfolio showcasing previous video editing work and demonstrating proficiency in various editing techniques.
- **Bachelor's Degree**: A degree in Film Production, Video Editing, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: Prior experience in video editing or a related field is advantageous, especially in a professional or creative environment.

**Bonus Skills**:

- **Motion Graphics**: Experience in motion graphics and animation software such as Adobe After Effects.
- **Audio Production**: Basic knowledge of audio production and editing software such as Adobe Audition or Pro Tools.
- **Color Grading**: Experience in color grading software such as Adobe SpeedGrade or DaVinci Resolve.
- **3D Modeling and Animation**: Familiarity with 3D modeling and animation software such as Autodesk Maya or Cinema 4D.
- **Scriptwriting**: Basic scriptwriting skills to assist in storytelling and content development.
