Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Cloud Security Platform and security technologies to protect Qualys systems across various cloud environments as:

- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Alibaba

**Responsibilities**:
You would be responsible for cloud resource provisioning, IAM, policy creation, UAR, establishing cloud security monitoring, cloud security posture management along with designing and architecting the cloud environments as per security best practices and cloud security guidelines of various standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effectiveness of security measures and help establish and enforce cloud security policies and procedures.

Cloud Resource Management, Security Policy, and Procedures
- Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and other security teams to develop, deploy, maintain secure cloud infrastructure, and maintain secure architecture aligned to internal standards and current best practices.
- Provision, de-provision, allocate, terminate cloud infrastructure components across cloud environments as per user requests
- Develop and maintain cloud security policies, standards, and procedures to guide the organization in securely adopting cloud services.
- Develop and enforce cloud identity governance processes, including user lifecycle management, access certifications, and access review workflows.

Design and Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) Process/Policy
- Architect, design, and implement cloud based IAM solutions, considering the unique challenges and opportunities presented by cloud environments.
- Develop and manage user provisioning processes, including account creation, modification, and deprovisioning, ensuring compliance with access policies and procedures.
- Implement role-based access control (RBAC) frameworks and access control models to grant appropriate access privileges to users based on their roles and responsibilities.
- Design and draft custom IAM policies to be implemented on org level, project level, resource/directory level
- Collaborate with system admin and network engineers to integrate IAM solutions into existing cloud infrastructure.
- Develop secure cloud IAM frameworks and workflows, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high availability of IAM infrastructure.
- Monitor and enforce access control policies, regularly reviewing access permissions to identify and remediate any unauthorized access or potential security risks.
- Integrate Cloud Security Platforms with single sign on (SSO) with various identity providers like Okta, ForgeRock etc.
- Design and deploy multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions to enhance the security of user authentication processes in cloud enevironments.
- Conduct periodic user access review as per internal policy and procedures.

Cloud Security Posture Management and Monitoring:

- Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and other teams to develop, deploy, and maintain secure cloud architectures aligned to internal standards and current best practices.
- Implement monitoring capabilities that enable continuous asset inventory and posture assessment across cloud operating environments.
- Implement and administer cloud native services and other security technologies like CSPM including Qualys Product across cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor and analyse security logs and alerts from cloud native services and config while proactively responding to potential threats.
- Implement pattern identification and behaviour analysis mechanisms to detect and respond to anomalous activities across the infrastructure.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices, and proactively implement necessary countermeasures to enhance security posture.
- Conduct in-depth security reviews of cloud architecture designs, deployments, and configurations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enhance incident response plans and actively participate in security incident investigations and resolution.
- Work with SIEM administration team to enable security logging and setting up cloud monitoring for all CSP
- Work with infrasec team for setting up PKI infrastructure and periodic key rotation
- Maintain inventory for support channels, account managers with escalation hierarchy to get assistance in various issues and support requests.
- Collaborate with vendors on solution implementations, upgrades, and issue resolution, ensuring alignment with business requirements and security standards.
