**Introduction**:
The Rates Trading Technology team is looking for a skilled business analyst / project manager who is ready to accept the challenge of managing eRates delivery projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an AVP level project manager to help deliver for a front office technology platform which leverages both in-house and vendor components. The Markets business is rapidly expanding its algorithmic and electronic trading capacity, and delivery efficiency is key to success. This role will have accountability for delivery of Global Rates e-trading technology and will have accountability to our front office as well as the global electronic trading technology.

What will you be doing?

**Core responsibilities include**:

- Analysing and shaping activities through full project lifecycle from inception to implementation
- Monitoring and reporting of key project deliverables / risks / issues
- Managing Risks, Issues, and Dependencies
- Facing off against trading, quant, and product teams, partnership with development teams, first-line support, and vendors, interaction with lateral functions such as risk, controls, and compliance.
- Adhering to Barclays Change Control framework

**Additional responsibilities may include**:

- Status Reporting, and communications with stakeholders
- Budgeting and Financial Forecasting

**What we’re looking for**:

- Experience providing business analysis towards delivery of high-performance software
- Experience managing projects following Agile project methodology and using associated tools, such as JIRA and Confluence
- Strong communication skills and ease in articulating analysis artefacts to tech and business stakeholders
- A proactive attitude towards problem solving and willingness to be a hands-on technologist.

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Background in Fixed Income products and electronic trading technology a plus
- Background in software development a plus
- Experience in a fast-paced trading environment a plus
