**Job Description: UT Technician with NDT Level 2 Certification (Heavy Engineering Industry)**

**Location : Alwar**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Ultrasonic Testing**: Perform ultrasonic inspections on heavy engineering components, such as welds, castings, and fabricated structures, in accordance with established procedures and industry specifications.

**Equipment Handling**: Set up, calibrate, and operate ultrasonic testing equipment, including advanced phased array and time-of-flight diffraction (TOFD) systems, ensuring precise and reliable results.

**Data Interpretation**: Analyze ultrasonic test results and flaw indications to determine the nature, size, and severity of defects, collaborating with engineers and other relevant stakeholders to make informed decisions.

**Report Generation**: Prepare detailed inspection reports that include findings, recommendations, and any necessary repair actions, maintaining clear and concise documentation of all inspections.

**Quality Assurance**: Ensure that ultrasonic inspections are conducted in compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications, contributing to the overall quality control process.

**Collaboration**: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including welding inspectors, engineers, and project managers, to address technical concerns, share insights, and contribute to effective problem-solving.

**Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and participate in the development of improved inspection techniques, methodologies, and equipment utilization.

**Training and Mentoring**: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting in their skill development and promoting a culture of learning and growth.

**Safety Adherence**: Prioritize safety throughout the inspection process, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to mitigate risks and ensure a secure working environment.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- NDT Level 2 certification in Ultrasonic Testing is mandatory.
- Solid experience in performing ultrasonic inspections within the heavy engineering sector.
- Proficiency in interpreting complex engineering drawings, specifications, and industry codes.
- Familiarity with advanced ultrasonic testing techniques, including phased array and TOFD systems.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret test results accurately and make appropriate recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating detailed reports and collaborating with team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding environment, including climbing, lifting, and working at heights as required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and quality

**Salary**: ₹8,086.00 - ₹30,280.95 per month
