Videographer & Editor

Doon Film School is seeking a highly creative and talented Videographer cum Video Editor to join our dynamic team. **Responsibilities**:
Videography : Shoot institutional activities, workshops, classes and promotional videos.

Video Editing: Edit and enhance raw footage captured during various film projects, workshops, events and content for social media. Create engaging and visually compelling videos that effectively convey the intended message, ensuring seamless transitions, proper pacing, and appropriate use of audio elements.

Graphic Design: Develop captivating visual content, including posters, banners, social media graphics, and other promotional materials, to support our school's marketing and communication efforts. Utilize your artistic skills to maintain brand consistency and elevate the visual appeal of all materials.

Motion Graphics: Create animated elements and motion graphics to enhance video content and promotional materials, adding dynamic and professional visual effects.

Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the marketing and communications team, film faculty, and students to understand project requirements, concept ideas, and creative visions. Translate ideas into compelling visual content that aligns with the overall objectives.

Software Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard video editing and graphic design software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and other relevant tools to execute your work efficiently and with precision.

Creative Direction: Contribute innovative ideas and suggestions during brainstorming sessions and be proactive in exploring new trends, techniques, and technologies to continually improve the quality of our media projects.

Asset Management: Organize and maintain an organized library of video and graphic assets, ensuring easy access and retrieval for future projects.

Quality Control: Ensure the final deliverables meet the highest quality standards and are error-free, adhering to the project requirements and deadlines.

**Requirements**:
Proven Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in video editing and graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in both fields.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard video editing and graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).

Creativity: Demonstrated ability to think creatively, conceptually, and critically to produce visually appealing and compelling content.

Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain consistency in visual elements across different projects.

Team Player: Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Passion for Film and Media: An avid interest in film, media, and visual storytelling is highly desirable.

Degree/Certification: A degree or certification in Film Editing, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
