Crusher Operator

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform the day to day operation of the crushing and screening plant and conveying
and stacking system;
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently to maximize throughput;
- Monitor equipment and systems to insure proper operation;
- Insure quality of material being crushed, screened and stacked to maximize
permeability and recovery;
- Provide input and assist maintenance personnel as needed;
- Perform cleanup and housekeeping to insure a safe, clean and productive work area;
- Perform inspections throughout to insure shift dust control systems are functioning
properly and that dust is being controlled;
- Perform conveyor and stacker moves as needed;
- As needed, assist metallurgical personnel to achieve maximum system performance
and recovery;
- Assists with training of new crusher operators;
- Assist with the development of methods and procedures;
- Perform all work in a manner to achieve a zero level of incidents in the process department;
- Participate in crusher department safety meetings; and
- Offer ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement of the crushing facility operations
