Psychiatrist

**Description**
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders, and personality disorders.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on patients' clinical presentation, history, and diagnostic findings, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities, psychopharmacology, and psychotherapy techniques.
- Provide medication management, prescribing and adjusting psychotropic medications, monitoring treatment response, and addressing medication side effects and complications.
- Deliver individual and group psychotherapy sessions to patients, utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), supportive therapy, and other psychotherapeutic approaches to address patients' emotional and behavioral issues.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including psychologists, social workers, nurses, and case managers, to coordinate patient care, referrals, and treatment planning.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, case conferences, and clinical rounds to review patient progress, discuss treatment strategies, and ensure continuity of care.
- Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning for patients experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms, suicidal ideation, or behavioral crises.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, progress notes, and treatment documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to participate actively in their own care and recovery process.
