Job Title: E-commerce Operator

**Job Description**:
An E-commerce Operator plays a crucial role in the successful operation of an online retail business. They are responsible for managing various aspects of the e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for customers, and supporting the overall growth and profitability of the business. This role can vary in scope and responsibilities depending on the size and nature of the e-commerce operation, but here are some common duties and responsibilities:
1. Website Management:

- Maintain and update the e-commerce website to ensure it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and functional.
- Monitor website performance, load times, and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
- Collaborate with web developers and designers to implement improvements and enhancements.

2. Product Management:

- Add new products to the website, including product descriptions, images, and prices.
- Update product listings with accurate information, availability, and pricing.
- Manage product categorization and organization for easy navigation.

3. Inventory Management:

- Track and manage inventory levels to ensure products are in stock and available for purchase.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize overstock and stockouts.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams for timely restocking.

4. Order Processing:

- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor and manage order fulfillment, shipping, and delivery processes.
- Address customer inquiries related to order status and tracking.

5. Customer Support:

- Resolve customer issues, complaints, and returns in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Assist customers with product selection and inquiries.

6. Payment and Security:

- Ensure the security of customer payment information and transactions.
- Monitor and prevent fraudulent activities.
- Implement and maintain secure payment gateways.

7. Marketing and Promotion:

- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute online marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Optimize product listings for search engine visibility (SEO).
- Monitor website traffic and user behavior to make data-driven decisions.

8. Analytics and Reporting:

- Generate and analyze e-commerce performance reports.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Make recommendations for optimizing the online shopping experience.

9. Compliance and Regulations:

- Stay informed about e-commerce regulations, data privacy laws, and industry standards.
- Ensure the e-commerce platform complies with all relevant laws and regulations.

10. Continuous Improvement:

- Stay up-to-date with e-commerce industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, e-commerce, or related field (preferred).
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with e-commerce platforms and software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Knowledge of online marketing strategies and SEO principles.
- Familiarity with digital payment systems and security protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow with the e-commerce industry.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
