This is a full-time role for an Associate/Sr. Associate
- Sourcing & Production at Plastics For Change located in Andaman, the Associate/Sr. Associate will closely collaborate with SLRM/MRF centre and Supply Partner Relationship Manager to ensure plastics sourcing and production at Andaman Center.

The key focus areas of the Associate/Sr. Associate-Sourcing & Production would be:

- **Sourcing & Production**:_
- Identifying, networking, mobilising and engaging key plastics suppliers across the informal sector such as Home Based Workers (HBW), Waste Collectors (WC), Itinerant Buyers (IB), Van Units (VU), Dry Waste Collection Centre (DWCC), Waste Pickers Community Leaders, Scrap Shops (SS), Wholesaler etc. to ethically source required plastics.
- Supporting the above stakeholders to transform from the informal to the formal sector.
- Enrolling and managing the above stakeholders on the PFC technology platform to do buy-sell transactions.
- Building trust with the above stakeholders and maintaining strong working relationships to ensure consistent plastic sourcing.
- Implementing, managing and overseeing fair trade standards and statutory compliance at the Supply Partner (Job Work Baler) level.
- To ensure ongoing continual improvements of processes and overall productivity.
- To ensure economical, timely, and efficient production, as well as maintenance of equipment.
- Organisation and responsibility for incoming raw material and goods verification.
- Maintain MIS reports and Inventory responsibility for input and finished goods including weekly/Monthly inventory reports to the Facility Manager.
- To maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- To resolve personnel problems by analysing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
- To maintain product quality by establishing and enforcing organisation standards.
- To ensure that production processes, as well as machines, other equipment are used economically throughout..
- Work towards implementing the industry's best practices and designing methodologies, tools and SoPs that contribute towards smooth compliance management.

**Experience and Qualifications Required**
- Graduate with 2 + years of fieldwork experience in the informal sector/direct field sales.
- Past Experience working in the fields of Urban or Rural Development, Environment, Community Relations / Interventions / Engagement, Plastic Recycling, and Waste Management will be helpful.
- Strong understanding of social and environmental concepts, and fair trade and compliance management.
- Experience in working in a start-up/scale-up and fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Experience in fair trade or fair labour practices is a plus.
- Fluency in the Local language (read, write and speak), English (read, write and speak) and Hindi (read and speak) are preferred.

**CTC/Compensation**

Per industry standards, performance bonus, medical Insurance and fixed travel allowance.
