Salary - 25000 to 35000

Role & Responsibilities

**Production Oversight**:

- Supervise and coordinate all activities within the sponge iron production unit, including raw material handling, processing, and final product shipment.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and production quotas.
- Monitor equipment performance and production parameters to identify and address any issues or inefficiencies.

**2. Team Management**:

- Lead and manage a team of production operators and technicians.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities, provide training, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork, cooperation, and continuous improvement.

**3. Safety Compliance**:

- Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, addressing any safety hazards or concerns promptly.
- Provide training on safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards.

**4. Equipment Maintenance**:

- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to schedule and perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of production equipment.
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate department.

**5. Quality Assurance**:

- Monitor product quality throughout the production process, conducting visual inspections and quality checks.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that final products meet specified quality standards.
- Investigate and address any quality issues or deviations, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

**6. Reporting and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate production records, including production output, downtime, and quality inspection results.
- Prepare reports on production performance, including efficiency metrics, quality metrics, and any issues or concerns.
- Communicate production status and performance to management and other relevant stakeholders.

**7. Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and productivity enhancements.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to implement process improvements and best practices.
- Encourage employee feedback and involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.
