**Position: Credit Officer**

**Reporting to: Area Audit Manager**

**Key Responsibilities**:
Conduct visits to all clients in the morning to authenticate the Client Profile Verification (CPV) forms completed by the Field Officer (FO).

Verify and sign Know Your Customer (KYC) documents, marking them with the "Originally Seen and Verified" (OSV) seal.
- Assess the creditworthiness and financial stability of applicants through comprehensive analysis of their financial statements, credit history, and collateral (if applicable).

Ensure accuracy and completeness of client information.

Conduct three surprise visits to the loan collection centers (SCV) weekly.

Collect monthly loan installments from clients and submit reports in the prescribed format.

Monitor compliance with loan repayment schedules and identify any irregularities or issues.

Collect cash from Field Officers in the afternoon, along with due sheets and daybook entries.

Coordinate with the Branch Manager and Field Officer to deposit cash in the bank.

Maintain accuracy and transparency in cash handling procedures.
- Maintain the petty cash fund, ensuring proper documentation of expenses, and reconcile and submit weekly petty cash accounts to the Accounts Department.
- Accompany the Branch Manager during loan disbursements, capture and store photographs of the disbursement with BM and CO present, and send them to the Head Office on the same day.
- Prepare and submit accurate reports on loan disbursements, collections, and portfolio quality.

Prepare daily collection and disbursement reports and submit the reports to the Finance Department at the Head Office before 04.30 PM.

Prepare details for High Mark Credit information in the afternoon and hand over the details to the Branch Manager for report extraction.

Record loan repayments and other relevant transactions in the software system accurately and timely.

Safeguard and manage cheque leaves received from the Head Office for loan disbursement, petty cash replenishment, or other authorized purposes.

Perform any other work assigned promptly and efficiently.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Min. 2 years experience in microfinance (JLG) highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess creditworthiness.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks in the microfinance industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Requirement: Two wheeler and License must.
