**Position Summary**:
As Transport Planner in the team, you will help deliver on a range of projects, in the areas of transport planning and modelling, across PBUs/clients in the transport infrastructure and built environment sectors.

**Key Job Areas**:
As member of the Transport Planning team you will be responsible for:

- Working on traffic and revenue forecasting studies and modelling projects
- Organising traffic surveys and data analysis
- Assist in transport model development. Tasks may include but not limited to network building, checking and analysis.
- Delivery of assigned tasks to timescales and budgets.
- Assist in preparation of technical reports.
- Continuous improvement in various aspects of transport planning
- To work to a high technical and quality standard.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Masters in Transport Planning/Engineering with 4 - 6 years professional experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in traffic and revenue forecasting studies and knowledge of developing transport models.
- Geographic information system (GIS) expertise (MAPINFO and ARCINFO) will be of considerable value.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office tools, particularly MS Excel
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently with limited supervision
