Chemical Enggineer

**Responsibilities**:
**Process Design and Development**:
Design and develop chemical processes, including process flow diagrams, heat and mass balances, and equipment specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize process efficiency, productivity, and sustainability. Utilize process simulation software to model and analyze chemical processes, identifying areas for improvement.

**Equipment and Facility Design**:
Specify and design equipment, such as reactors, pumps, heat exchangers, and separators, for chemical processes. Ensure proper equipment selection, sizing, and installation to meet process requirements. Collaborate with mechanical engineers and equipment vendors to ensure equipment functionality and safety.

**Process Optimization**:
Identify opportunities for process optimization and improvement, such as yield enhancement, energy efficiency, and waste reduction. Conduct data analysis, process modeling, and simulation to evaluate and implement optimization strategies. Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.

Safety and Environmental Compliance:Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all aspects of chemical process design and operation. Conduct hazard assessments and risk analyses to mitigate potential hazards. Design and implement safety protocols and procedures to protect personnel, equipment, and the environment.

**Quality Control and Assurance**:
Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure product quality and consistency. Perform data analysis and statistical process control to monitor and maintain process performance. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to investigate and resolve product quality issues.

Project Management:Plan, coordinate, and oversee chemical engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications. Collaborate with project stakeholders, including management, engineers, and technicians, to achieve project objectives. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

**Technical Documentation and Reporting**:
Prepare technical reports, engineering drawings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to document processes and procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of process design, changes, and improvements. Communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders through presentations and reports.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field (advanced degree preferred).-
Proven experience in chemical engineering, process design, and optimization.-
Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, thermodynamics, and unit operations.-
Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and other engineering tools.-
Familiarity with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA) and environmental compliance.-
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.-
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written.-
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.-
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.-
Knowledge of project management principles and practices.-
