Officer (C9)

The Financial Reporting Analyst is an entry level position responsible for assisting in preparing financial statements and notes to financial statements in line with US GAAP using fundamental knowledge of general accounting, fund administration, capital market (mutual funds) and good communication skills. Good knowledge of excel is preferred..

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparing semi-annual/annual financial statements - SOFP, SOCNA, SOP, FIHI and notes to financial statements using fund accounting reports from Sungard.
- Preparing Quarterly/semi-annual/annual Schedule/Portfolio of Investments using Bloomberg data and other inputs.
- Working on monthly reports like Total Return, Mid-month distribution, etc.
- Performing Draft reviews, footing checks, etc.
- Conducting trainings for junior staff and refreshers for the team.
- Assist the team with troubleshooting and reviews
- Come up with initiatives for increasing efficiencies and improving accuracy.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant experience preferred
- Experience in accounting, finance, or business-related area
- Experience within Financial Services or Operations
- MBA graduates, CFA certification or Chartered Accountants preferred
- Proven experience in funds administration
- Knowledge of funds services and processes

- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
