- Maintain a record of all driving incidents, including accidents or tickets.
- Ensure safe and comfortable transportation for guests to their destinations or the
hotel.
- Record the timings and purpose of each trip and report to the supervisor.
- Comply with traffic and road rules as well as follow hotel policies.
- Ensure guest safety and security during transportation.
- Welcome guests with a placard at the airport and coordinate with the hotel's
airport representative.
- Engage in positive conversation with guests.
- Follow standard operating procedures for vehicle breakdowns and accidents.
- Assist guests with luggage as required and transport it to/from the designated bell
desk or lobby area.
- Provide water and cold towels to guests as per hotel policy.
- Record the starting and ending kilometers/miles of each trip.
- Obtain guest signature if the room bill is to be posted to the folio.
- Return exact change to guests paying cash for taxi fare.
- Outlined below are the responsibilities and expectations for the vehicle attendant
role:
- Maintain the vehicle's exterior and interior appearance in impeccable condition.
- Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, including servicing, cleaning, upkeeping,
and keeping it in good running condition.
- Report any incidents to the superiors immediately.
- Assist the hotel's administrative departments with transportation requirements,
such as sales calls.
- Operate the mobile EDC and accurately process credit/debit card payments.
- Follow the standard route and reporting time schedule at all times.
- Report any guest complaints, problems, or incidents to the manager on duty or
travel desk manager.
- Perform any requested trips or drives with the hotel car/bus.
- Park the car in designated parking areas and follow parking policy.
- Observe all traffic and driving regulations, including speed limits.
- Maintain positive customer relationships at all times.
- Possess a good understanding of the hotel's facilities and services.
- Provide information on the hotel's amenities, activities, restaurants, and nearby
places of interest.
- Provide details on the room features, such as Wi-Fi, minibar, tea/coffee maker, and
other amenities, if requested by the guest.
- Responsible for maintaining either the hotel's vehicle or third-party service
providers' vehicle.
- Ensure the assigned car or vehicle is spotless in appearance and mechanically
sound.
- Inspect the vehicle using the car checklist and rectify any issues found during the
checking.
- Ensure effective handover from the earlier shift and sign on the log book.
- Preferably a non-smoker due to proximity with guests, using mouth freshness to
avoid bad odors.
- Maintain high grooming and personal hygiene standards.
- Wear a proper uniform with a name tag that is nicely polished (if required).
- Practice accident prevention measures.
- Maintain good personal safety and grooming standards.
- Maintain the parking spaces and key cabinet, ensuring maximum cleanliness.
- Treat all clients and colleagues in a polite and courteous manner at all times.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
