Boiler Incharge

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of the boiler systems in the mill
- Monitor the performance of the boilers and related equipment, ensuring that they are functioning safely, efficiently, and according to established standards
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for the boilers and related equipment, including conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with the boiler systems, and take corrective actions as needed
- Ensure that the boiler systems are in compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, including fuel consumption, steam production, and equipment maintenance and repairs
- Train and supervise boiler operators and other personnel as needed
- Collaborate with other departments, including production, maintenance, and safety, to ensure that the boiler systems are integrated effectively with other mill operations
- Monitor boiler performance and identify areas for improvement to optimize efficiency and reduce operating costs
- Participate in safety and environmental audits, and ensure that the boiler systems are in compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in boiler operations and maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Knowledge of boiler operations, maintenance, and repair, including experience with steam production, combustion systems, and controls
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety standards for boiler operations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and correct complex mechanical problems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and schedules
