SAP BW Developer

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Good understanding SAP BW architecture, SAP BI/BW suite with 4+ years of experience
Works on the design and implementation of projects that involve business intelligence solutions
as a lead or individual contributor.
Works on moderately complex tasks for the deployment of new solutions and
enhancements/fixes to existing solutions. These include, but is not limited to: troubleshooting,
problem-solving, issue resolution, user interaction, training, defining systems scope, gathering
requirements, documenting design & technical specifications, research and fact-finding,
configuration, testing, reporting, cutover, IS and business user coordination.
Experience in design and develop end to end data flows for BW data models, including
extractors, DTP s and Open Hub. Reporting.
Experience with reporting tools - Analyzer, Analysis for Office (AFO).
Good experience in performance tuning of long running queries/procedures
Experience with large data volume, performance tuning
Experience in ABAP programming skills and SQL Skills.
Must of have SAP BW 3.x (e.g. 3.5) and SAP BW 7.x version experience.
Experience in Process chain development, monitoring, troubleshooting, data validation and
reconciliation.
Experience in data extractors from ECC to BW.
Development of ETL processes and the associated info structures.
Understanding of the fundamentals of Enterprise Data Warehouse data loads and design.
Develop end-to-end reporting solutions for Commercial Operations.
Experience with building BEx queries in using SAP BW Objects.
Experience with data extraction in SAP BW from different source systems using flat files, oracle
ERP ECC SYSTEMS
Experience with data ingestion to SAP BW from 3rd party systems

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of experience of working with BW modeling, Extraction, transformations, loadings.
Experience of working with SAP BW as a data source, preferably in the FI/SD/PP/MM domain.
Strong understanding of SAP Finance, SD, MM, PP Data Model.
Good understanding SAP BW architecture, SAP BI/BW suite with 4+ years of experience
Experience in Smart Data Access and Smart data Integration will be an added advantage.
Exposure to Cloud tools/integration will be an added advantage.
Willing to work on Saturday and Sunday if necessary and night shift will be added advantage.
Ability to provide solutions in a timely manner.
Understanding of data warehouse and OLAP cube design.
High degree of initiative, creativity, and problem-solving ability.

Ability to display excellent problem-solving skills and a strong desire to work with the business
to gain a deep understanding of the business processes.
