Tution Teacher

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Instruction**: Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring tailored to the student’s curriculum and learning style.
- **Lesson Planning**: Develop and implement customized lesson plans that align with the student’s academic goals and curriculum requirements.
- **Assessment**: Evaluate student progress through assessments and regular feedback. Adjust teaching strategies and lesson plans based on student performance and feedback.
- **Communication**: Maintain open and professional communication with students and their parents or guardians regarding progress, challenges, and any adjustments needed in the tutoring approach.
- **Travel**: Visit students' homes as scheduled to conduct tutoring sessions. Manage your travel time efficiently to accommodate multiple students.
- **Record Keeping**: Keep accurate records of each session, including topics covered, progress made, and any homework or follow-up tasks.
- **Support**: Provide additional support with homework, test preparation, and special projects as needed.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- **Experience**: Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred. Experience in home tutoring or working with children and adolescents is highly desirable.
- **Skills**:

- Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and relatable manner.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching.
- **Other Requirements**:

- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel to various locations within “Hosur”.
- Clear background check and references.

**Working Conditions**
- **Schedule**: Flexible hours depending on student availability and needs. Typically, sessions are scheduled during after-school hours, evenings, or weekends.
- **Environment**: Tutoring will take place in students' homes. A professional demeanour and respect for the family’s space are required.
