**Job Title**: Optometrist

**Job Overview**:
An optometrist primarily examines patients' eyes to diagnose vision problems, diseases, or abnormalities. They prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids, as well as medications to treat eye conditions. Optometrists also provide pre
- and post-operative care to patients undergoing eye surgeries, such as LASIK.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Eye Examinations**: Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity, refractive errors, eye coordination, and overall eye health using advanced diagnostic equipment.
- **Diagnosis and Treatment**: Diagnose and manage common visual conditions and eye diseases, such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, dry eye syndrome, and digital eye strain.
- **Prescription Eyewear Services**: Prescribe and fit eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision correction products based on patients' visual needs, lifestyle preferences, and budgetary considerations.
- **Customer Consultations**: Provide personalized consultations to educate customers about their eye health, discuss treatment options, and recommend appropriate eyewear solutions.
- **Sales Support**: Collaborate with retail staff to assist customers in selecting frames, lenses, and lens coatings that best suit their prescription, style preferences, and budget.
- **Lens Fabrication and Quality Control**: Oversee the fabrication process of prescription lenses to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with optical standards and regulations.
- **Follow-Up Care**: Provide post-purchase follow-up care, including adjustments, repairs, and replacements of eyewear as needed to ensure optimal fit, comfort, and visual performance.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**: Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols and safety regulations to protect patients and staff.
- **Customer Service Excellence**: Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and building long-term relationships with customers to promote loyalty and satisfaction.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.
- Licensure as an optometrist in the state or country of practice.
- Strong clinical skills and proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye examinations.
- Experience in prescribing and fitting eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision correction products.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹17,000.00 - ₹34,000.00 per month
