**Position Overview**:The Outdoor Camera Person plays a crucial role in capturing high-quality video footage for various television programs and news broadcasts of the TV channel. This individual is responsible for operating camera equipment, setting up shots, and ensuring that the visuals meet the creative and technical standards of the channel. The role requires excellent camera operation skills, creativity, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in dynamic and sometimes challenging outdoor environments.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Camera Operation**:Operate professional camera equipment to capture high-definition footage according to the creative direction provided by directors and producers.
Ensure smooth and steady camera movement while capturing shots, including pans, tilts, zooms, and tracking shots.
Adjust camera settings such as focus, exposure, white balance, and frame rate to achieve desired visual quality.

**Shot Composition**:Collaborate with directors, producers, and fellow crew members to determine shot compositions that effectively convey the story or information being captured.
Set up and frame shots in a visually appealing and engaging manner, taking into consideration lighting, background, and foreground elements.

**Location Preparation**:Scout outdoor locations prior to shooting to assess lighting conditions, potential challenges, and safety considerations.
Assist in setting up equipment, including tripods, stabilizers, and any necessary accessories, to ensure optimal shooting conditions.

**Technical Expertise**:Stay updated with the latest camera equipment and technology trends to ensure efficient and effective camera operation.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues that may arise during shoots to minimize disruptions.

**Adaptability and Flexibility**:Work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing environments while maintaining the quality and consistency of footage.
Accommodate last-minute changes to shooting plans or schedules, often required for live broadcasts and breaking news coverage.

**Collaboration**:Collaborate closely with directors, producers, sound technicians, and other crew members to achieve the desired visual and storytelling objectives.
Communicate effectively to ensure a smooth flow of information during shoots.

**Safety Awareness**:Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in outdoor environments, particularly when shooting in potentially hazardous locations or situations.

**Post-Production Support**:Provide input and feedback during the editing process to ensure that the final edited product aligns with the original creative vision.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience as a camera person, preferably in television production or a related field.
- Proficiency in operating professional camera equipment and understanding of camera settings.
- Strong sense of visual composition and storytelling through camera work.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of outdoor shooting challenges and safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, as dictated by production schedules.

The role of an Outdoor Camera Person is integral to the TV channel's success in delivering captivating and engaging content to its viewers. **Salary**: From ₹15,000.00 per month
