Diamond Grader

As a Diamond Grader, you will be responsible for assessing the quality, characteristics, and value of diamonds according to industry standards. Your primary duties will include examining diamonds using specialized tools such as loupes, microscopes, and electronic devices to evaluate their cut, color, clarity, and carat weight. You will need to accurately grade diamonds based on established criteria and classifications, ensuring consistency and precision in your assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough examinations of diamonds to determine their quality and attributes.

Utilize magnification tools and grading scales to assess cut, color, clarity, and carat weight.

Classify diamonds according to industry standards and grading systems.

Record detailed observations and grading results accurately and efficiently.

Identify any imperfections, inclusions, or enhancements in diamonds.

Communicate grading results effectively to internal stakeholders and clients.

Collaborate with other team members to maintain consistency in grading practices.

Stay updated on industry trends, developments, and changes in grading standards.

Adhere to ethical guidelines and best practices in diamond grading and certification.

Ensure the security and proper handling of diamonds throughout the grading process.
